"Butterfly Child Effect" is a story about the extraordinary power of love and hope. It is a story of the solidarity of thousands of people who came together in the need to save the life of a girl suffering from a rare incurable genetic disease - E.B. The film will be a multifaceted account of the heroic fight of 7-year-old Zuzia Macheta and her family, with a disease that causes open wounds all over the body and their fight with pervasive pain. Many call Zuzia a "small butterfly" because her skin is sensitive like the wings of a butterfly. After 7 years of fighting with a diabolic disease, finally a hope came.

10-year-old Zosia was the only child on her street who did not go on a holiday. She spends them in Bałuty, in Łódź, under the care of her Aunt Róża, who is in a wheelchair. One day Zosia meets a girl with a red braid in the yard – it is Rutka. She takes her to a red meadow to show her the world that only children can see. Rutka lives in a rundown ruin. The only piece of furniture in her apartment is a table around which she drew her parents and brother. They left for the Diamond Planet, riding off on a mysterious train. Zosia promises to help Rutka find them. The girls go out onto the street and travel in time - they are now in the Łódź ghetto in 1942. They are escaping the White Lord, who kidnaps children. At the Radegast station, they see him again. He swallows butterflies flying out of wagons - people brought here from other European cities. He also wants to swallow Rutka, but Zosia defends her.

Their fates make up a metaphorical, universal story about individual human existence.

The premiere of the VOLUME 1 of the Compendium on production issues is planned for the 44th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2019. Especially for students, the premiere of VOLUME 1 coincides with the beginning of the academic year.
VOLUME II - dedicated to financing should appear in Q4 2019, just before the session the first session of the Polish Film Institute in 2020.
VOLUME III - has a scheduled premiere in the Q1 2020 to give young producers an insight into the distribution process before deciding which distributor to choose.
VOLUME IV - dedicated to issues related to copyright will be ready in Q3 2019
VOLUME V - is a dictionary of terms related to film production, updated with new technologies
VOLUME VI - a unique publication, that fills in the gap in the bill, describing the rights and obligations of the crew working on a film set.
